Rabbits and Black-Footed Ferrets

We discussed in a recent article the proposed rabbit cull at the University of Victoria, BC. Recently, the provincial Supreme Court granted an injunction preventing it. In unrelated news, an insanely cute and crazy threatened species, the black-footed ferrets, show signs of having gained a foothold in a national park.

The To Do List (2013)

I've recently (a few days before the general release) been invited and attended a sneak preview of "The To Do List", an excellent comedy featuring Aubrey Plaza whom I’ve seen before in Safety Not Guaranteed.

2018 Oscar (90th Academy Awards) Winners

I was with a bunch of friends on Oscars night, and though I suggested we watch it, they’d have none of it, so we ended up watching Elysium on Netflix instead. Still, curious as I am to see who won and what movies I should keep trying to watch, I’m publishing the winners list here, along with my comments.
